Stanley Nakashima, Ultra Runner and gracious Trail Sweep volunteer every year!
The Start and Finish line are the same — located on the road near the Start/Finish aid station. Look for the orange cones.
The first 1 3/4 miles is varied road surface. After you get on the trail, you have 14 miles of forest trail until the Turnaround and 14 miles coming back.
After the suspension bridge, go left on a wide horse trail to the Turnaround aid station. Make sure you check-in at the aid station so we know you have been there. You must leave the Turnaround aid station by 12 noon.
Make sure you carry enough aid for a 2.5 to 4 hour training run, like you would for a loop on Tiger Mountain. There are streams, but if you do not want to stop, or use untreated water, please carry a sufficient amount. Do not plan on unmanned water stations.
Bridges on the course are mossy, so be careful not to slip! They can be very slippery!!
The course will be marked with pink flagging.
There are restrooms at the Start/Finish, sanicans in the Kulshan campground, and at the north and south trailheads.
Results will be posted on this web site as well as the UltraSignup website within two days. They will also be sent to Ultra Running Magazine.
